In conclusion, the Japanese people went through a hard time and a crisis during World War II. This was a tragic event for the Japanese American people to go through. The American government was paranoid because of the bombing at Pearl Harbor and that's why they relocated all the Japanese Americans to internment camps. Even though there were Japanese Americans fighting for America the government wanted to be "safe". President Ronald Reagan signed the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 on August 10. This was to make up for the mistreatment of those in internment camps.
